The Project

We believe community is greater than charity. With this project we aim to demonstrate the need for and value of culturally informed, community centred, doula-led care.

This project is intended to serve as a vehicle to illustrate the ways doulas can support families during the pregnancy and postpartum period. We also aim to demonstrate the ways that culturally competent support can positively impact families experiencing maternal and parental health disparities.
